This page provides all the forms and resources you will need to submit an application or a letter of intent to request project funding over $10,000. These forms are also used to apply for funding under the Biofuels Opportunities for Producers Initiative (BOPI) and the Local Government Agriculture Planning Program.

Letter of Intent
A letter of intent is optional and enables you to obtain the board’s initial reaction to a proposed concept or project idea. It can provide you with helpful direction from the board prior to committing the resources needed to prepare a comprehensive application. This option will require more time overall, as applying then becomes a two-stage process.

Deadlines
Deadlines are set several weeks in advance of board meetings to provide the necessary time for an effective evaluation process. If your application or letter of intent is received after a deadline or is not completed in time to be included in the meeting package, it may not be forwarded to the board for a decision until the following intake period.

Service Standards

Our commitment to improving client service includes Service Standards regarding decisions and payments. For projects over $10,000, clients can anticipate a decision 35 business days from the date the Application is completed.
